International Association– “ACRENAP” – “Association for the Development and Conservation of Natural Resources of Peru”
The Foundation was established on June 17, 2000. Its main offices are located in the capital of Peru, Lima and Satipo, Junín Department.
Statute of the NGO “ACRENAP” was adopted at the founders conference in Lima in June 2000 and come into force since of the state registration in the Department of the Ministry of Justice in the same period.
The main goal of the ASSOCIATION “ACRENAP” is to promote the development and preservation of Peru’s natural resources, and to support works and projects in the educational, scientific and cultural areas in accordance with the program for the XXI century, adopted by the UN.
To carry out our tasks, we perform five main functions:
– Implementation of research programs in the preservation area and recovery of Amazon biosphere’s rainforest.
– Development of new methods for ecosystem recovery, based on the results of scientific research.
– Legal process for specialized recommendations by laws regulating the usage natural resources in Peru’s ecosystem.
– Providing consulting and monitoring services to all interested state organizations, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of the Environment, private organizations and individuals in the development area and registration of projects on the use, management, preservation and recovery of natural resources.
– Publication and promotion of work results, specialized information exchange.

State competition for preparation of documentation for registration of a biosphere reserve in UNESCO was won

Was made a compulsory re-registration process in the international cooperation Agency “APSI” and according to the received resolution No. 139-2019/APSI/DOC, the registration of the NGO “ACRENAP” was updated.
July 4
Cooperation agreement between the NGO “ACRENAP” and “Rainforest Preservation S. A. C.” joint programming for the preservation of natural resources and research in social areas and environmental projects for the period of 2019-2023 were approved and signed.
May 30
Signing of an agreement with the Association of Regional Municipalities of Selva Central (Satipo Province, Gunin Department, Peru) (NORVRAEM) on the joint work in creation the area at the “AVIRERI VRAEM” Biosphere Reserve.
April 4
Through testing by the Council of Deputies No. 080-2019-CM/MDP, an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation was signed between the NGO “ACRENAP” and the District Municipality of Pangoa, Gunin Department, in the creating area of the “AVIRERI VRAEM” Biosphere Reserve and creating private protected areas.
April 2
Through testing by the Council of Deputies No. 023-2019-CM/MDRN, an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation for the period of 2019-2023 was signed between the NGO “ACRENAP” and the regional municipality of Rio Negro, Gunin Department, in area of the “AVIRERI VRAEM” Biosphere Reserve creating and recovering degraded ecosystems.

Through testing by the Council of Deputies No.019-2019-CM/MDY, an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation for the period of 2019-2023 was signed between the NGO “ACRENAP” and the District Municipality of Yaya, Gunin Department, in area of the “AVIRERI VRAEM” Biosphere Reserve and creating specialized breeding grounds for forest fauna objects for further recovery in the natural habitat.

Participation of the NGO “ACRENAP” in the first Assembly of the Committee for the management of environmental territories of the Ministry of Environment, where it presented preliminary results of research work for the period of 2017-2019 and new projects until 2021.

The NGO “ACRENAP” took part in the II Regional Colloquium “Main provisions of development of Satipo Province”, where it presented the results of research resources of wild fauna and flora “Satipo is the cradle of biodiversity”

Through testing by the Council of Deputies No.020-2019-CM/MDPM, an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation for the period of 2019-2023 was signed between the NGO “ACRENAP” and the district municipality of Pampa Hermosa, Gunin Department, in the area of the “AVIRERI VRAEM” Biosphere Reserve and creating specialized breeding grounds for the forest fauna objects for further recovery in natural habitat.

Through testing by the Council of Deputies No. 034-2019-CM/MDC, an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation for the period of 2019-2023 was signed between the NGO “ACRENAP” and the district municipality of Kobyriali, Gunin Department, in the area of the “AVIRERI VRAEM” Biosphere Reserve and creating specialized breeding grounds for the forest fauna objects for further recovery in natural habitat.

Signing of an agreement on scientific cooperation between the NGO “ACRENAP” and the Institute of Animal Taxonomy and Ecology of the Siberian Branch of Russian Federation Academy for the period of 2019-2023.

NGO “ACRENAP” took part in the National Congress on scientific research in protected natural areas and was presented by President Dr. Vladimir Izerskiy with the results of research projects (new species, subspecies and a new genus for invertebrate science) conducted in the reserve “Reserva Comunal Ashaninka” in the period of 2017-2018.

NGO “ACRENAP” took part in the National Congress on scientific research in protected natural areas and was presented by President Dr. Vladimir Izerskiy with the results of research projects (new species, subspecies and a new genus for invertebrate science) conducted in the reserve “Reserva Comunal Ashaninka” in the period of 2017-2018.

By decree of the resolution of the Main Department of Nature Protection territories of the Ministry of the Environment No. 87-2018-SERNANP-DGANP, the research group under the leadership of Dr. Vladimir Izerskiy in the Joint Management Committee Of the National Park “Otishi”, the Reserves “Reserva Comunal Ashaninka” and “Ecoashaninka” was appointed as the coordinator of research and environmental activities on the territory of these reserves.
